Knott's Berry Farm with the Wheelers

We got to spend a day at Knott's Berry Farm with the entire Wheeler gang

Week at the Beach House with the Miners

We spent the week of the 13th at Balboa Penninsula in Southern California for the Miner Family biannual family reunion. We stayed in a beach house about a block away from the beach. It was a really fun week and Alyssa loved being around so many other kids. We enjoyed having so many willing people to entertain our girls.

All of the adults on the ferry going over to Balboa Island for dinner. All 20 grand kids are back at the house. Fortunately, the house was still standing when we returned.

Around the house

Alyssa got a hold of a pen and decided that she wanted to color....her legs!!!

Of course when Alyssa saw Mommy feeding Ashley, she just had to try Ashley's food.

Since she always wants to grab the spoon while she's being fed, we now just give her, her own plastic spoon

Trip to Overland Park

Danny had a business trip down to Overland Park which is only a three hour drive away so we took advantage and all went together. Laura and the girls went out and explored while Danny was conducting his training. Here the girls are at the Overland Park Botanical Gardens.

While down in Overland Park, we could not pass up the opporutnity to go to our favorite BBQ restaurant ever, Smokehouse. It was as good as we remembered!!! We also had lunch on the last day at a Brazilian churrascaria.
