Alyssa's Birthday and Birthday Party

For Alyssa's birthday party, she wanted to play laser tag with her friends. We had a hard time finding a laser tag arena that would let them play an unlimited number of times. So we found a place that would lend us a set of 12 guns and barriers. We set it up at the Convention Center and we think it worked pretty well.

They tried many different kinds of laser tag games. We had pizza, soda, and rice crispy treats. They played some rounds of hide and seek in the huge Convention Center Lobby areas. I think everyone had a lot of fun. After the party we took everyone back to our house and they played "Just Dance" on the Wii.
On Alyssa's birthday, we went to the Japanese Steak house for dinner. They even sang to her this year.

Catch up on December

I transferred pictures from my phone this week and realized that it has been a long time since I have updated our blog. So here are some catch up posts. First comes December.
We had a nice Christmas. Nothing matches the excitement on your kids faces as they anticipate Christmas morning.

Alyssa and Danny got to go visit Temple Square to see the lights.
We had a small family party with the Wheelers. We missed the California families that couldn't be there with us to celebrate.

The boys got to see Santa at Camden's Preschool Christmas Program and party.

Camden was so handsome in his little suit.
Ashley and Tyler got to participate in their school's annual Teddy Bear Hug.

Camden got to hug some teddy bears too.
We went to the butterfly museum and the kids were all lucky enough to have butterflies land on them.

We made gingerbread houses. They had a lot of fun and the boys started eating their houses about 2 minutes after finishing them.
