But it is still very special to Alyssa. In the past 6 months or so, Alyssa has developed a new comfort item. Now, she has decided that she doesn't necessarily need, the blanket, just the blanket fuzz. Before I vacuumed one week, I picked up the collection of fuzz from under her bed.
She loves to roll the fuzz around between her fingers and unfortunately, the blanket is showing the effects.
We wonder when the day will come that she doesn't need any comfort items.

Brynlee is the same way with her blanket. A couple months ago I find one that looked almost identical, and have switched it out. She did notice, but I think she liked the new soft feel.
I wish my kids would have attached to something other than me!!! You are lucky.
