Easter

We had a nice Easter. I especially loved that we just had sacrament meeting that day. It gave us the opportunity to all go to church together at the YSA ward. And then to have the rest of the day together to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior and to be with family.
We dyed eggs on Saturday. I boiled 28 eggs and they blew through them quickly. And then I was left to eat most of them on my own. We did use a bunch of them for deviled eggs for Easter dinner.

After sacrament meeting, the YSA's had a munch and mingle. We grabbed some food and then headed out to leave the tables and seats for the YSA's to mingle. Danny and Alyssa stuck around a little longer to help clean up. Since we had a little bit of time, We went over to the temple so I could get some pictures of Camden for his baptism invitation. The temple grounds were still pretty dead since it hadn't warmed up yet from winter temperatures.

We all got back to the house around the same time, so we made the kids pose for a picture in their Easter outfits. The girls got new dresses and the boys got new ties. Unfortunately, the ties were full size, so they were a little long.
And, of course, they wanted to include Lula.

We did an Easter egg hunt after heading inside. Ashley participated, mostly because she wanted the candy.

After the egg hunt, we did our annual easter lesson with the eggs and objects inside that represent events of the Saviors life during the last week. Then we had dinner with Gawbie and Grandpa.
It was a nice day together.
