Labor Day

On Labor Day we decided to take Alyssa to Chuck E Cheese. This is the second time that we have taken Alyssa there and she seemed to enjoy it a lot more this time. She loved sticking the tokens in the games and pulling out the tickets. She had a lot of fun with the games too. We didn't take our camera along this time because we got a lot of pictures from the last trip, so the picture below is from April, but the pizza still looked the same. I think our favorite part of the whole trip there and back was listening to Alyssa call it "Mac N Cheese." It made us laugh every time.
We also took the girls to Fuddruckers on Friday night and we were very pleased with how well they did. We would probably go out more often if they were always like they were that night.

That looks fun! We've thought abou taking Robbie there but wondered if he was just a bit too young still. I think we'll wait a while.

Has nothing to do with the post - but I just wanted to thank you for the encouragement. Hopefully I can be as good of a mommy as you and get it figured out without losing my sanity! :) I had forgotten about the bird poop - I started laughing all over again. Que saudades...
by the way, cute family! i can't believe what a curly headed little one you have, does that come from her daddy?

ps-so the other night, when I was awake at some insane hour feeding the baby, I was just sitting there kind of mindlessly, with the theme song to PBS' "Word World" going through my head, when I suddenly remembered the bird poop, and started laughing all over again. Then I remembered that we didn't even have anything to wipe it off with, and we were out of our area for a blitz, so we couldn't go home. And there was that one really big tall Elder that I can't even remember his name that was eating some popcorn, so he tore off a piece of his popcorn sack and gave it to you and that's what you had to clean up with. I was just cracking myself there sitting up in the bed in the dark. (thankfully, my husband is a deep sleeper)
