We had an enjoyable Christmas season with lots of family time and reflection of our Savior and his life.
The whole family got to attend the Christmas Party at the Convention Center this year. It was on a Saturday morning with a lot of activities geared towards kids and a delicious brunch. After we ate, we played a few rounds of Bingo, but none of us won. After that, Ashley and I made a Christmas snowman.
There were leftovers after the party, so we ended up making a whole snowman Wheeler family. While we were making the first snowman, the boys had a snowball fight with the Grinch.
We also made gingerbread houses...
and watched the Grinch movie. The kids all got to talk with Santa.

We each got to take a candy apple home after the party. There were also some leftovers of those, so we took them around to a few of our neighbors that evening.
We hosted Christmas Eve at our house this year. We got to use our new dinette set and we all fit around 1 table. No kids table this time.
Danny planned a Christmas story scavenger hunt for the kids, which I think they enjoyed. Then we opened gifts and the kids put on their new jammies.
We missed having Alyssa with us this year. We got to talk to her for a little bit on Christmas Eve and then again on Christmas morning. She even got to be part of our Christmas morning stair picture.
We did not go to Tepanyaki that evening for dinner to celebrate Alyssa's birthday. We had mac and cheese at home this year.
