Thanksgiving Week

We had some visitors for Thanksgiving this year. Bobby and Holly decided to fly in for Thanksgiving and since they were coming, we extended an invitation to Lydia to come stay with us for the week, as well. Ashley had spent Thanksgiving week with Lydia's family a couple of years ago, so we thought it would be fun to return the favor. She flew in on Monday evening and Danny was all ready to pick her up from the Provo airport when he learned that her flight was being rerouted to Ogden. So he headed home and Ashley and I jumped in the car to get her from Ogden. It all worked out in the end because we got there about 10 minutes after she got off of the plane. Ashley really enjoyed having Lydia with us. They took a lot of walks with the dogs, sat outside a lot, and we did some family activities as well. One of the nights, Ashley and Lydia went to the Christmas light display at Thanksgiving Point. We played games together...

and we went and did an escape room.

On Thanksgiving morning, the boys played football and the girls went to see Wicked Part 2. We all enjoyed the movie.
The boys enjoyed having Liam here to play with for a couple of days. Kennedi and Abbi also came for dinner on Thanksgiving with Gawbie and Grandpa. Here is the little people table.
And the big people table.
There was a little bit of time when the kids all decided to play roblox together. It was cute seeing them all lined up together while playing.
Bobby, Holly, and Liam spent all of Friday with us, as well. We spent most of the day hanging out while the kids played. We decided to get pizza for the kids for dinner that night and the adults went out to dinner.
We chose a Thai Restaurant in Lehi and had an enjoyable evening.
On Saturday, the boys went to the BYU football game. Tyler wanted to go, but Camden didn't. So they took Grandpa with them, too.

While they were at the game, the girls (and Camden) did some exploring. We drove through the Santa Neighborhood near us (but most of the Santa's were collapsed), we got swig, we drove to a lookout point near Provo Canyon...
We went to the Riverwoods for a potty break and to walk around the Christmas decorations. We also looked in a couple of the stores.

Then we took Lydia to the airport for her flight home and we got lunch at Costa Vida. We ended up getting back home after the boys returned from the game. Babby, Holly, and Liam flew out that evening. It was a fun week with family.
