Alyssa is almost done with another basketball season. They start a double elimination tournament tonight, so we will see how long they last. Their team had such a good start to their season. They won their first 3 games. It was around the 3rd or 4th game that Alyssa injured her middle finger.
One of those terrible basketball finger jams. I think it made her a bit hesitant for the next few games. They played the only other undefeated team in their 4th game. They hung with them pretty well, but ended up losing by a few points. And then the season went downhill from there. The next team they played was tough, but beatable. Unfortunately they lost. The low point was when they played the team that hadn't won a single game all season and lost to them, too. I'm not sure what happened to her team, but they ended the season 3-5, having lost 5 games in a row. Tonight they play a team that they have played 2 times during the regular season. They won once and lost once. We shall see how it goes.
