Alyssa's First Time Snowboarding

Alyssa has a good group of friends this year that consists of 4 girls and 3 boys. Over Christmas break, one of the boys in the group(Travis) invited all of the friends in the group to go snowboarding with him. Most of the friends couldn't go, but we let Alyssa try it out when her friend, Sara, decided to go. The three of them did cross country together and are now doing track together, as well, so they are pretty good friends. We were a bit nervous that she was going to fall and break something, but she ended up catching on really quick and had a fun day with her friends.

The only downside to the day was that she lost Danny's snow goggles and she was super sore the next day for her first basketball practice of the season. She loved it though and can't wait to go try it again.
