Camden's Birthday and Baptism

Camden had a great 8th birthday. He requested a super smash bros cake. I did the best I could, but I still had to print a couple of his requested characters off from google images. We went to IHOP for dinner, then he went to his track practice, and after track we came back to the house, and he opened presents and we ate cake. It was kind of a busy day, but we made it work.

His baptism was the Saturday after his birthday. 

We had kind of a small group, but it was still special with those who were able to come. 

He asked Grandpa Wheeler and I to give the baptism and holy ghost talks. Ashley and Tyler were the witnesses. Steve played the piano and his primary teacher, Laura Jensen, was the chorister. Alyssa was in charge of the zoom meeting and Gawbie and Scott Kavanaugh gave the prayers. His song choices were "The Miracle" and "I Will Walk With Jesus." 

We had lunch at our house after the baptism. I'm so proud of Camden for choosing to follow Jesus and get baptized.
