We managed to fit in a tulip festival visit in between rain, snow, cold, school, bishop responsibilities, track, and other after school activities. It was a beautiful night and the tulips were amazing, as usual.
We took a picnic dinner and enjoyed it in the shade next to a small stream. We went back to Ashton gardens in June to see the dinosaurs of Dinosaur Island. They added some new ones and moved some of the dinos from last summer to different locations. I think my favorite new ones were the gigantic crocodile looking one, the Pterodactyl, and the giraffe skin brachiosaurus. We went with Gawbie, Grandpa, and cousin Kennedi. They rented a golf cart because Gawbie can't walk the whole gardens. The kids loved squeezing together in the back of the golf cart.
We love exploring the gardens, especially when the weather is nice. The kids especially love rolling down the long, grassy hills.
